Activities

• Lead the daily management process of the Mozambique LNG project website and Social Media Platforms, including the existing channels created for the project brands.
• Be responsible for the brand guidelines and style guide and oversee the development of branded templates for use by Project key stakeholders. Ensure there are processes in place to enforce correct usage.
• Create effective and compelling digital content strategy/plan that promotes the Company/Project initiatives, inspiring, engaging and attracting even more online audience towards the Project digital Platforms.
• Develop, manage, and optimize MzLNG Project digital presence, including website, social media channels and other digital platforms responding to queries as necessary and ensuring information meets users’ needs, is creative, accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate the process of content creation planning and posting considering what online spaces work best.
• Coordinate the production of curate new and engaging content including photos, videos, infographics, and other content from a range of contributors including colleagues and other external stakeholders.
• Increase our digital reach including through online advertising, SEO and using analytics to evaluate, report as well as improve our digital footprint together, if necessary, with external communications agencies.
• Be a champion for digital: support company departments on how to use digital in their work including developing our online campaigning presence.
• Stay abreast of digital innovations and think about how these might be relevant to the MzLNG project initiatives.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a digital communications role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, CMS, HTML, CSS design, video and editing tools, various internet applications, web tools, analytics, and new media platforms.
  Robust SEO knowledge.
• Familiarity with corporate brand guidelines.
• Experience in brand marketing or marketing preferred.
• A proven track record in corporate website, social media and content development and management.
• Must be able to repurpose content for multiple platforms.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; attention to details is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger management team.
• Previous experience in working within a complex, multinational organization is strongly preferred.
• Effective project and time management skills, with the special focus on the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

• The project has developed a communications’ strategy that is critical to preempt messages and tell the story of an exemplary and virtuous development. The core themes of communication for assisting the Project in building its image and reputation include: Mozambican gas will contribute to the global Energy Security, best in class project to reduce CO2 emissions and help southern economies to decarbonate, economically transformative for Mozambique (tax revenues, local content for individuals and domestic gas commitment), an exemplary project in terms of Security, Human Rights respect, benefitting the local communities in the site area through unique socio-economic development.
